tikal

On monday I visited the Tikal ruinas near flores. This is a big ruinas site, with a bunch of massive temples. It was very tiring climbing the ruins. I took a bunch of photos. We had to wake up at 4:30, so at 1 I decided to skip sleeping, as there was no way Id wake up after 3.5 hours. Anyhow, I slept well monday night. The cool thing about these ruins is that theyre located in the middle of a jungle. When you climb to the top, youre actually above the canopy, and you can see the other big temples sticking out. The jungle is filled with howler monkeys. Howler monkeys are tiny, but they sound a lot larger, like a lion or something. They also have nose bears walking around, which are strange little things. Since we got there at sunrise, there wernt very many people. By the time we left at noon, it was very hot, and very full of people.
